First Show: The Rural Alberta Advantage

So I'm pretty psyched to announce Love Thy Neighbour's first show, featuring The Rural Alberta Advantage, who are a fantastic band in the vein of Neutral Milk Hotel & Bright Eyes on the revered Saddle Creek records. They say: We play indie-rock folk songs about hometowns and heartbreak, born out of images from growing up in Central and Northern Alberta. We sing about summers in the Rockies and winters on the farm, ice breakups in the spring time and the oil boom’s charm, the mine workers on compressed, the equally depressed, the city’s slow growth and the country’s wild rose, but mostly the songs just try to embrace the advantage of growing up in Alberta.

The shop will be at The Hope on Friday 10th December at 8pm. Support will be announced shortly. Tickets can be purchased here and will shortly be available in Resident, Rounder & over the bar at The Hope.

First show to be announced shortly!

The first Love Thy Neighbour show will be announced shortly, personally I can't wait!

Currently I'm driving this lot round America on their tour with Foals. America is big.
